1990

Thrustmaster is founded in the United States

A brand specialized in the development of high-end controllers.

1999

In the video game accessories market, Guillemot Corporation becomes one of the world leaders in racing wheels and controllers for PCs with the acquisition of the Peripherals and Accessories division of the American Thrustmaster® group.

2001

Thrustmaster participates in the famous E3 trade show in Los Angeles for the first time.

The very first products that allow users to use their bodies to manipulate the game, providing unique interactivity–and total immersion–are unveiled: the Freestyler Board (surfing, skateboarding, and snowboarding), Freestyler Bike (bike/motorcycle racing) and Fightingarena (combat) peripherals.”

2002

The Tacticalboard, a keyboard with a unique personalized design, aimed at experienced players, is released in stores.

2005

A range of peripherals dedicated to the new Sony PSP® console is launched.

2007

A new range of accessories for Nintendo® Wii® and DS™ Lite consoles is released and, to celebrate the European launch of the Sony PS3™ console, the innovative new Run’N’Drive multi-platform universal gamepads are introduced.

2009

Thrustmaster unveils its latest innovation – H.E.A.R.T. (HALLEFFECT ACCURATE TECHNOLOGY) technology – with the new T.16000M joystick. It incorporates 3D (Hall effect) magnetic sensors that offer an unprecedented level of precision that does not deteriorate over time.

2009

Thrustmaster launches its first product under license from Disney on the European market, the Toy Story Mania Ray Gun.

2010

The Ferrari Wireless GT Cockpit 430 Scuderia Edition racing wheel is named “Product of the Month” and crowned “#1 Racing Wheel” in the July/August edition of the Spanish magazine Playmania.

At the German Gamescom video game trade show, Thrustmaster unveils its new products under license: Disney Cars, Epic Mickey, Fairies and TRON.

2011

“The HOTAS WARTHOG receives the “”Innovation Award”” in the gaming accessories category at the CES trade show in Las Vegas.

American website SimHQ.com awards the HOTAS WARTHOG the title “”Best of 2010 Simulations”” in the PC peripherals category.”

French website Ère Numérique gives the T500 RS a score of 9 out of 10, praising its “millimetric precision” and the “quality and power of the force feedback”.

Panasonic Japan chooses Thrustmaster as its partner to enrich its customers’ gaming experience.

English magazine PC Pilot calls the HOTAS WARTHOG a “masterpiece” and awards it its Platinum prize.

A new range of products under license from Disney is released, with Cars 2 accessories for PS3™, Wii™ and DSi.

Thrustmaster stands out at the Gamescom trade show in Germany with its unique “motorhome” concept; the company’s marketing teams provide demonstrations of the brand’s latest releases inside a personalized vehicle. New products are announced: the Ferrari 458 Italia racing wheel, the first racing wheel under official license from Microsoft Corporation, Xbox 360® and Ferrari; the TH8 RS premium independent gearbox, equipped with versatile H and sequential grids; and a new range of Princess accessories under license from Disney.

Thrustmaster presents its first accessories under official PS Vita license.

2013

Thrustmaster unveils its first gaming headset under official PlayStation®4 license. Thrustmaster launches a headset that provides ideal restitution for the most demanding players.

2016

To celebrate the release of DOOM® game, Thrustmaster launches the new Y-350X gaming headset under worldwide DOOM® license with spatialized virtual 7.1 sound for an even more immersive experience.

2018

Launch of the first gaming headset inspired by the Scuderia Ferrari paddock, the T.Racing Scuderia Ferrari Edition.

Thrustmaster hosts the world final of the aerial combat “Phoenix Tournament” from Gaijin’s War Thunder game at its booth at Paris Games Week.

Thrustmaster partners with the “Jean Alesi eSport Academy” to support high-potential sim racers.
