Paris, October 25, 2016 — Thrustmaster is thrilled to announce that its T.16000M FCS Flight Pack has been named an Innovation Awards Honoree at the upcoming CES, the world’s largest trade show dedicated to innovation and technology, taking place from January 5-8, 2017 in Las Vegas. This pack is composed of the T.16000M FCS flight stick, the TWCS throttle and the TFRP rudder system – representing a powerhouse of innovations for flight simulation fans.

Honored and featured at the CES Unveiled Paris event, the T.16000M FCS Flight Pack brings together the best of Thrustmaster’s extensive flight sim expertise built up since 1990! 25 years’ worth of technological innovations developed by Thrustmaster have set the standard in the industry, with the latest and greatest brought together in this exciting new pack:

•    H.E.A.R.T* HallEffect AccuRate Technology™ (U.S. Patent 08471815), for 256 times greater precision than other products in its category.
•    S.M.A.R.T (Sliding Motion Advanced Rail Tracks) technology, for perfectly smooth sliding motions.
•    T.A.R.G.E.T (Thrustmaster Advanced pRogramming Graphical EdiTor) software, allowing users to combine the pack’s different components so that they are recognized as a single device – for which they can load or create their own special presets customized for each game. In this way, the T.16000M FCS Flight Pack truly takes a holistic flight ecosystem-oriented approach.

With the rise of the VR experience, Thrustmaster has created the must-have accessories for complete immersion in games. The Guillemot Group has now been honored with 6 nominations at this prestigious event over the past 4 consecutive years, bearing witness to the Group’s ongoing quest for game-changing innovations. The previous Thrustmaster product to receive the CES Innovation Awards Honoree distinction was another HOTAS system (an acronym for “Hands On Throttle And Stick”, a concept invented by Thrustmaster): the iconic HOTAS Warthog, a replica of the flight controls of the U.S. Air Force’s legendary “tank-killer” aircraft, the A-10C.

The T.16000M FCS Flight Pack is aiming to be just as successful among its target group, made up of advanced virtual flying aces, fans of space and flight simulation titles, and gamers getting started in the world of virtual reality – where perfectly-tailored accessories are more essential than ever before for achieving the ultimate in immersion. All of these users are looking for advanced, high-performance gear that will help them refine their flying skills and take them to dizzying new heights.

With this comprehensive pack, Thrustmaster’s goal is to let gamers experience all types of flight games – including modern combat, historical dogfighting, civil flight and of course space simulation titles as well – in the most immersive way possible. The T.16000M FCS Flight Pack will also be perfect for getting the most out of the ever-growing number of flight-focused virtual reality games, in particular by way of its intuitive “braille”-style physical button identification.

•    The T.16000M FCS Flight Pack will be available from December 2016 at a suggested retail price of €219.99 (taxes included).
