Sol-R 4 HOTAS

Sol-R 4 is a HOTAS (Hands On Throttle And Stick) system for ruling the sky and beyond. HOTAS lets you pilot your aircraft with incredible dexterity, thanks to simultaneous control of trajectory and engine thrust. With its interface of various buttons, you can assign up to 58 actions and keep all essential functions at your fingertips.

Among the 21 action buttons on its grip, the joystick features 2 triggers (including 1 dual-position trigger), 2 hat switches, 1 mini-stick and 1 thumbwheel to guarantee greater dexterity in high-pressure situations. Control of targeting, weapons and decoys are now within thumb’s reach, without letting go of the joystick and losing control of your trajectory.

The joystick has 3 axes of movement (X, Y, Z) incorporating H.E.A.R.T. (HallEffect AccuRate Technology) sensors with 16-bit precision. Its mechanism has been optimized after more than 10 years of expertise, in order to improve its durability. It generates linear resistance in all directions, making the joystick versatile for all types of flight simulation.

The Sol-R base features a wide variety of buttons, to correspond to flight controls: 4 switches, 8 pads, 1 mini-throttle, 1 selector and 1 rotary knob. Its pads are derived from DJ controllers, for a premium feel and reliable activation. The RGB LEDs are individually customizable, for a style that’s tailor-made for each gamer.

Its S.M.A.R.T. (Sliding Motion Advanced Rail Tracks) system provides smooth, precise and comfortable movement over the 3.1 inches / 80 mm of travel. 4 detent positions can be configured (none; 50% or 80% afterburner; dual-detent) to suit the type of aircraft you are piloting. The buttons, hat switches, thumbwheel and rudder let you configure additional actions with your left hand.

Combine Thrustmaster devices by using the external TFRP rudder system* or by attaching the removable Sol-R grip to an AVA base*. The Sol-R base is compatible with the Viper* and Hornet* grips, as well as future Thrustmaster grips*. (*Sold separately)

T.A.R.G.E.T is a software suite allowing users to test, configure and program Thrustmaster controllers. In this way, T.A.R.G.E.T allows for total interaction between different Thrustmaster USB controllers, with simplified configurations in simulators, and the use of a single preset for all controllers, rather than having to use as many different presets as controllers. Finally, T.A.R.G.E.T includes built-in presets for well-known games (both recent and older titles), and lets users create new presets too.
