Cases of unexpected disconnections that may affect the operation of your T598
Dear T598 owner: We would like to draw your attention to recent connection issues with your T598 product (PlayStation). We have noticed that in some cases, you may experience unexpected disconnections when using the product, disrupting your gaming experience.
We have taken this issue very seriously, and have devoted all necessary resources to ensure an optimal experience with our products.
➔ The cause of this malfunction has been identified: weakness in the female connector of the power supply unit, which makes it sensitive to lateral movements or displacements.
➔ Corrective action to stop the disconnections: replacement of the terminal and addition of a TPA. As a result, your T598’s power supply unit must be replaced with a new part that has a new female connector whose terminal perfectly matches the tight micro-dimensional tolerances of the male connector on the base.

The product batches with a connector weakness have been identified. Since this identification, all production has been compliant.
To find out if you are affected:
- Please verify your product’s serial number, which can be found:
- via your T598’s LCD screen; or
- via My Thrustmaster Panel; or
- by scanning the QR code located under the racing wheel’s base; or
- on the label of your product’s packaging.
- If the first 4 digits of your T598’s serial number are strictly less than 2513 => you may be affected by these disconnections due to the presence of the detected connector. There are two possible scenarios:
- Scenario 1: Your product’s serial number is lower than 2513, but you are not experiencing any unexpected disconnections. In this case, you do not need to take any action.
- Scenario 2: Your product’s serial number is lower than 2513, and you are experiencing unexpected disconnections. We have set up a support service with dedicated assistance, detailed below.
