A New Mission Awaits
The story unfolds in July 2029 in the world of Strangereal. The Federation of Central Usea (FCU) has suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of the Republic of Sotoa. Aboard the Endurance, an aircraft carrier transformed into a refuge for survivors, players assume the callsign “Wings of Theve“, a legendary ace destined to restore hope to what remains of the FCU’s forces.
Throughout the campaign, players will take to the skies alongside three new pilots and fight to reclaim their homeland. Supporting this new adventure are more detailed environments, dynamic weather systems, and layered cloud formations. At the same time, ACE COMBAT 8 : WINGS OF THEVE places greater emphasis on character development and the relationships forged within a squadron.
The online experience has also been expanded, featuring a social hub inspired by an air base, a variety of competitive and cooperative game modes, and full cross-platform support.
